MY STORY

I have always been a spiritual seeker. 
At an early age, I knew there was more to life than what I saw around me. I began reading about different philosophies, religions, and any book I could get my hands on that contained ancient wisdom. I was curious and fascinated by the depth of what could only be known intuitively, and the power of beliefs that our minds carry.

As a kid, I don’t remember feeling peace. 
Always one to experience emotions deeply and sensitive to others energy, my nervous system was often on high alert. A feeling of unworthiness started young, and led to body image and food issues, good girl syndrome, one sided friendships, unhealthy relationships, a constant need for approval and validation, and a lack of self trust. 

 

Loss, abandonment, trauma and heartbreak sent me into long dark spirals. In times of deep pain I worked to strengthen my spiritual connection and develop a growth mindset. In my 20’s, I established a yoga and meditation practice where I learned the power of breath and gained greater insight into the mind, body, soul connection. I was eager to share what I discovered and became a RYT in 2019 through Wonder Yoga. I’ve been journaling since I could write, and used it as a tool of self exploration. I began teaching journaling workshops to cultivate connection during the covid pandemic. In 2020, I self published Reflections: A Journal to Fuel Your Soul, to help others heal through writing.


 

​I thought I was (mostly) healed.

 I thought I had done the work. But God knew I was meant to serve a bigger purpose and I needed to dive further. I had more lessons to learn, more pain to feel and a deeper healing to experience. He sent me an astronomical love while simultaneously breaking my heart. I experienced greater loss, abandonment and the awakening of a dysfunctional family system that shattered everything I believed. 

This paradox in time caused my overall health to greatly suffer. On the outside there wasn’t anything obtrusively wrong. I just didn’t feel good. I didn’t sleep, developed a stomach rash, felt anxious, couldn’t focus, had brain fog, poor digestion, little energy, and felt disconnected from myself. All of which affected other areas of my life. A passionate believer of holistic health and one to avoid quick fixes and prescriptions, I turned my attention inward. I knew I needed to make changes. I began researching nutrition, movement, healthy sleep habits, the energy around me, what it means to regulate my emotions, setting boundaries and mindful practices that soothed and strengthened my nervous system. 

During my travel at this time, I listened to many stories of others wanting to heal, and the desire to simply feel better. I realized no matter who or where you are, we are all on this earth having a human experience, and therefore all healing from something. I felt called to help others on their own journey and became a certified Integrative Health Coach through IIN. This experience was transformative personally and professionally and has led me to create Path To Prana. 

 

Healing has a ripple effect. When we heal ourselves, we heal the world.
Just like our paths in life, our health is bio individual. It isn’t a one size fits all kind of thing. Likewise, it is multidimensional. You can eat your vegetables, drink lots of water and go to the gym, but if you don’t take care of your head and heart, you will still be unhealthy. My mission is to help guide you in healing and restoring balance in your mind, body and soul, so you can truly experience the life you dream of. 
When you learn to tune out the noise, listen to your body and follow your inner voice, you will discover that these shifts will change the trajectory of your life.

Reflections: A Journal To Fuel Your Soul
